Ontario Gives $15 Millions for Spinal Research

Thank you honorable,  Dr Reza Moridi, Ontario Minister of Research & Innovation for sharing this news with us.....

Our Gov't is Supporting Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Research

The Province of Ontario is investing $15 million in spinal cord and neurotrauma research. This investment will help researchers move innovative new discoveries from lab to clinic sooner while linking Ontario's world-class researchers with others around the globe.

Investments in this area help position Ontario as one of the world’s top life sciences clusters, as well as help to provide better services, improved outcomes, lower costs in the healthcare sector and create jobs when commercializing new technologies.

This is part of our government's plan to help improve the day-to-day lives of those living with spinal cord and neurological health disabilities.
