Pay It Forward!
I taught osteopathy to Dr Andrew Chan in Toronto.
Dr Chan loved osteopathy so much he talked about it to everyone.
Stephen Ng Koon Han and Peggy Tai Pek Yiong (both in Malaysia) heard Dr Chan talk about osteopathy.
They registered at National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) and National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) to become osteopaths.
They now have two Osteopathy Chronic Health Clinics of Canada in Malaysia. One of the clinics is a government health clinic offering osteopathic treatments to seniors through government health plan (the first in Malaysia).
Seniors have now access to government paid osteopathic care because someone in Canada talked about osteopathy.
This is why I ask my students to always speak about osteopathy. You never know how far your words travel and who may be listening.
You can literally change a nation by what you say. In this case thousands of seniors in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia have now access to this beautiful miraculous health care thanks to what Dr Chan said about osteopathy.
Students; osteopathy has given you so much. Pay it forward. Speak about it. Let everyone know what osteopathy is and what kind of miracles it performs on daily basis.
Spread the word, pay it forward, it starts with you!

Massage inside the public bathhouses in Iran
I do not know if there are still public bathhouses (hamams) in Iran or not, but when I was a kid there were a few in city of Rasht.
Massage and body work was offered in most of them. It actually did not look like massage at all. It was more like Thai massage than Swedish massage. Very hard, and painful but rejuvenating (I was told). I never had one because as a kid I was scared of them! :)

I travel through my students!
Whenever I see photos of my students working around the world, it feels like I am there with them. It is such a great feeling as I imagine being there with them. In a way, in my mind, I travel to so many places thanks to them.
Here is my Canadian student Dani Reid doing manual osteopathic work in Wallowa county in Oregon, USA. Such a beautiful area.

Congratulations to the new COMPO Council members
Congratulations to the new Council members of the College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario.
COMPO (founded in 2014) is a member of the Coalition for the Regulation of Manual Osteopathy in Ontario.
COMPO differs from other osteopathic association as it's mandate is to protect the public not the manual osteopaths. It is the only organization in Ontario that requires its members to pass written and practical exams. It is the only organization that has funding for therapy & counselling ($13,130) available for sexual abuse victims, and it is the only organization that requires all its members to take a mandatory Fraud Prevention and Abuse Prevention ethics course.
To get manual osteopathy regulated the profession has to have a structured College structured to protect the public. COMPO has been found for this purpose. It is an important part of the push to get profession regulated.

We do miracles!
Why do I wake up at 2AM most days to help more
people know about osteopathy? Because I believe it offers the best
treatment available for chronic musculoskeletal related pain.
I want everyone to know about this miraculous amazing healthcare system. That is why I keep working hard to expand this profession worldwide, so every patient, no matter where they are could have access to osteopathic care.
I want everyone to know about this miraculous amazing healthcare system. That is why I keep working hard to expand this profession worldwide, so every patient, no matter where they are could have access to osteopathic care.
My Facebook groups and
pages are one way I spread the word about osteopathy. And today I
realized the group I founded a few years ago has now over 19,000
members! We Love Osteopathy group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/weloveosteopathy/ ) is the largest osteopathy group in the world.
A big thanks to my students who are my osteopathy ambassadors. It is through them that osteopathy is spread worldwide. You are the reason for our success in becoming the number one provider of osteopathic education worldwide. Thank you my students. You do miracles on a daily basis.
