BREAKING NEWS: Unionized Manual Osteopaths; First in Canada

We are happy to announce that the members of Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada (OCPCC) have voted to become unionized. This is the first time in history manual osteopaths will become union members in Canada. Potential benefits of becoming union members include:

-insurance direct billing
-increased patient referrals
-becoming preferred providers of osteopathic care to union workers across Canada
-secured insurance coverage
-savings on a number of goods and services

OCPCC founded by Dr Shawn Pourgol currently has over 157 locations in Canada, US and elsewhere. It is now the largest private pain clinic in the world. All OCPCC manual osteopaths are alumni of National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada), National University of Medical Sciences (USA) and National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) who have taken postgraduate fellowship program in chronic pain management.

OCPCC goal is to have 500 clinics worldwide within the next two years. OCPCC has joined the Coalition for the Regulation of Manual Osteopathy in Ontario. All OCPCC members receive free membership to the Canadian Union of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.

OCPCC is scheduled to open within the next two months. In the photo below you see some of the new members of OCPCC clinic in Canada.
