We need more space.
The March 2018 class of the National Academy of Osteopathy is the last class that will be held at the current location of NAO at 121 Limestone Crescent in Toronto. The space is not large enough to handle the workload. Our 5 year lease expires on September 01, 2018 and yesterday we gave notice to landlord that we will not renew it.
I always get sad when I leave a location. It feels part of my life and heart stays behind. I get emotionally attached to a space as it has so many memories for me. NAO was just a baby when we moved to this location in September 01, 2013. Now it is a full grown adult and I watched it grow in this location.
I remember one on-campus class many years ago in another location, that we had only 2 on-campus students, one from Alberta and one from Ontario! Look at us now!
It was this location that we expanded our NAO program from 4 months full time to 1 year full time. It was here that we started the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada, which with 157 locations worldwide has become the largest chronic pain clinic in the world, prior to its first day of work!
This location has brought so much success to us and to the profession. It is with sadness in my heart that I have to let it go.
The new location will be announced soon.
